Do those who take on more than minimal freelance writing have childcare help? I’m stuck at the point of deciding whether to get help to write more, but be forced to make enough money to pay for that help, or just be OK with occasional writing gigs and full-time mothering. Thanks!

I guess, as a newbie here, I would like some basic “getting started” questions answered. I feel OVERWHELMED by the amount of information about freelancing that’s on the internet & I have no idea where to concentrate my efforts (after all, I can not spend all day on the internet….well, okay, I HAVE before, but I SHOULDN’T–lol!).
And by “getting started,” I mean getting started on serious gigs, not the “pay me a pittance for an article” route which I have been a part of in the past.

I am living in limbo. I am neither exclusively a SAHM nor a working mom. Presently, I am the primary caregiver for my 9 month old daughter. She spends six hours/week in a nursery so that I can teach a college composition class. This is great, but I am left with no time to work on my own writing. I am curious what kind of childcare situations others have worked out.
